When the title track of "Superstars of Greenwich Meantime" immediately hits out with a guitar lick that sounds like Link Wray playing for Morricone, juts into Upsetter dub and onto a Miles inflected horn solo all back braced by steady beat, and within 20 seconds, the mood is set for Uncle Jim at his most venemous... Spewing bile all over everybody and everything with unsurpassed vulgarity, this spokesperson for the gloriously disgruntled introduces us to the coming acopalypse in a world gone wrong by stating " the Lords of Deception rule the chambers of Homopathetica (that's Mankind... ya numbskull!) with their legions of moles, patsies, experts, pundits & skum crew." From then on in it's a fury of comeuppance that'll leave your head spinning and wondering on truth all over again... And this just a bit of new "product" from the sublime abduction carnival folklore crew. And that's it. Interviews with AB... Have a nice President's day...!

Climax Golden Twins, Reprise

Sir Richard Bishop
Rick Bishop had a busy last year that included a solo tour with Devendra Banhart and Will Oldham and a trip to Scotland with Sun City Girls. He's starting the new Year in gear with a NW run, including the Tractor on 2/11, and then another U.K./European tour. The above fotos are variants from a long feature interview by Ben Chasny, aka Six Organs of Admittance, which will come out this March in the sparkling new (2nd issue), semi N.W. produced, quarterly mag called The Fretboard Journal.
