The Living Barge
The Living Barge, a collaborative project of Sarah Kavage and Nicole Kistler, is moored at its home on the Duwamish River for the month of April. You can read all about it here, including map, informative links and events... "What is this project about?
We want to use this project to create a lasting, positive dialogue about the history and future of the Duwamish and the neighbors and businesses that surround it. We also want to raise citywide awareness of the Duwamish and invite people to participate in its restoration."

Today is World Water Day... and also found that there is a Cloud Appreciation Society? Here's a page of fotos of "The Mystery Storms".

Herb Diamante
I was reminded of seeing Herb Diamante's performance at the Rendezvous' Wall of Sound night a while back after seeing this great Scott Walker video. Herb is seen above singing his classic "Aubergine" and someday I hope to see him backed with a live horn section...

The Tiptons
The Tipton Sax Quartet premiered a beautiful new set of music last Sat. night called "Shop of Wild Dreams" accompanied with live painting by Danijel Zezelj and video of NYC by Arik Mayer.
Spider Trio
Spider Trio is Wally Shoup (sax), Jeffery Taylor (gtr) & Dave Abramson (drums) and they kicked ass at the Rendezvous last Sat. for one of the best free jazz sets I've seen... Herzog also played a great set, but didn't have the benefit of backlighting from the great film "Decasia"... so no fotos.
