Jezebel, the very popular shop cat at Wall of Sound, moved on to her next cat life earlier this week. Jeffery posted a sweet tribute and beautiful photo of her on the Wall of Sound website.
In the process of looking for that picture, I found this early photo of her typical stance while chattering at the pigeons on the corner of 2nd & Bell. Also was reminded of this page at shopcat.com.

OOIOO
OOIOO from Japan played last Friday at Chop Suey, the place was packed - it was one of only a handful of North American shows - and yeah, it was great... there were two kick ass drummers at the back in the shadows driving some tight rhythmic string playing and an intriguing array of vocals. Preview article here...
The bottom shots are a blue Brad from Master Musicians of Bukkake and a few shots spliced of Climax Golden Twins salvaged from a darker stage that included Kinski for a total of 13 players (maybe 14)... I got there a little late for the full effect, but when I arrived the force of it literally knocked me back a ways, but really it was just a gentle wave of dark titanic proportions,,,,

In Memory, Charles Gocher, 1952 - 2007
"...Listen to his song. Let me leave you with one last thought: If his idea seems too
preposterous, and if you don't believe in the reincarnation of the soul,
how do you know that we're not all dead already?"

how do you know that we're not all dead already?"
from Charles Gocher Sr. by Charles Gocher Jr.
Dante's Disneyland Inferno, Sun City Girls.
Many of Charles' friends gathered in remembrance and to celebrate
the life and free soul of Gocher. It was a great party, as he'd want it...
