Field and Pitch

Not sure where I got this, it folds out as a note card with another small illustration inside.I think David Mahler, baseball fanatic (poet, musician), made it. The top drawing is for baseball at its most basic. The second is for Daisuke Matsuzaka, who throws something like the fadeaway drop ball, some call it the gyro ball - whatever, it's nasty. Today he struck out ten in his A.L. debut. It's not his fault that the Red Sox paid his Japanese team 50 million dollars just for the right to sign him. Next week, at Fenway, the first batter he'll face... Ichiro!
